"The Five Temptations of Faust"
The Museum of Music has opened an exhibition dedicated to Faust, the legendary scientist, the protagonist of classical German literature, the protagonist of the immortal philosophical drama by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. In this character, seemingly polar things are combined: purity of thoughts and interest in evil, the fire of talents and the blind pursuit of power. The composer Alfred Schnittke also spoke about the relevance of the image of Faust in our days, and the curators of the project agree with this idea.
