Exhibition "Russian Art Nouveau: on the way to the synthesis of arts"

   The art of the late XIX - early XX century was characterized by very contradictory trends. The artists tried everything: from historical retrospectives to desert metaphysical landscapes, from romanticized portraits to theatrical genre scenes.
   Some masterpieces are well known to the public, others are rarely exhibited. Among the authors are members of the World of Art association - Bakst, Vrubel, Levitan, Korovin, Bilibin and many other artists of the early twentieth century.
