Stone arches, created by the greatest architect – The Nature, amaze with their grandeur. Noisy gulls bustle about on the tops of rocks and arches, cormorants sit proudly and swifts scurry about. On the shore of the bay there was a Japanese naval base with an airfield (which was located in the area of the modern Burevestnik airfield).

From here, in the winter of 1960, a self-propelled barge with four servicemen was torn off the moorings by a hurricane wind. The barge dangled across the ocean for 49 days until it was picked up by an American aircraft carrier one and a half thousand nautical miles from the launch site.

In addition, there is an interesting geological object in the bay - Devil's Rock (Chertovka) - an extrusive outcrop of volcanic rocks, forming an impenetrable cape (Tunnel), in which the Japanese dug tunnels for a through passage, as well as for military purposes. Remains of these structures are still preserved. One of the structures is popularly called the "hospital" - a large cavity, invisible from the shore, in which, according to unconfirmed rumors, there was one of the military laboratories where bacteriological weapons were created.
