Cosmonautics and aviation

The Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre is part of the Friends of VDNH loyalty programme. You can buy tickets on the VDNH website or the Centre's website. Entry to the pavilions occur once every two hours. The first session starts at 11:00 AM and last at 8:30 PM.

The Centre's exposition presents more than 120 unique, never-before exhibited examples of aircraft and spacecraft, exhibits of the military-industrial complex enterprises, and more than two thousand rare archival documents, photo and video materials.

The largest space museum complex in Russia, the Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre at VDNH first opened to the general public in the renovated historical Pavilion No. 34 Space on 13 April, 2018. Here, those interested may visit the large-scale exposition on the achievements of Russian cosmonautics and future space exploration projects.

Under the dome of the pavilion are game simulators – the Monolith and Cosmic Sphere exposition modules – a unique, 5D cinema experience depicting the story of exploration of the Universe, from the Big Bang theory to the prospects of colonizing Mars.

The Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre is open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., except Mondays. The entrance to the exposition closes at 9:15 PM. From this moment and until 10:00 PM only the exit is open.
The ticket offices are open from 10:45 AM to 9:00 PM.
